RACE CAST Frequently Asked Questions
HOW IT WORKS

If you purchase an hourly package, you can use your hours to watch at anytime, Live or On Demand. If you purchase 4 hours of time you have the flexibility of using those 4 hours at anytime for any of our events. You can watch 1 hour of programming on Monday, two hours on Tuesday, and use the last hour to watch on Thursday.

WHAT IS THE COST?
All events have a 1 hour package for $4.95, a 4 hour package for $11.95 (1 Day), a 15 hour package for $24.95 (3 Days), and a 20 hour package for $34.95 (4 Days). The total number of days for an event determines the hours we have set up for each package.
QUALITY?
RACE CAST will introduce LIVE High Quality (HQ) Streaming Pay Per View into the Market at the East Bay Winternationals. The screen ratio is 16:9 wide and the quality is 512kbps. MOST PC users should be able to watch and enjoy a stunning view of the racing action in Tampa, Florida, in the comfort of their home! The screen can be expanded to Full Screen and has the ability to be ported to an HDTV (if you have the right setup). RACE CAST will implement three cameras (one main and two corner cameras) in addition to play-by-play by Dirt Nation host Matt Noonan (and Guests), interviews, MOTORSTATS.com Instant Replay, Highlight Packages, and MORE! This isnt a race with one camera, a play-by-play announcer piped in, and bad quality
.this is a SHOW!
CAN MY COMPUTER HANDLE THIS?
It depends on many factors. MOST newer model PCs with a decent internet connection can handle the stream. It is a combination of your internet connection, having updated software, and not running too many programs. To test your internet speed check at: www.speedtest.net. It is recommended that you have a DOWNLOAD speed of at least 1 MBPS or more to properly view the stream.
REFUNDS?
We are using an hourly system in an effort to reduce the need for refunds. RACE CAST will have plenty of footage to consume your time purchased in the event of a cancellation. If a show is rescheduled you can view it at that later time. If you use the hourly charge, its very easy to keep tabs and see if the event is on as scheduled and to add time to your account.
